One Screen for Live Events and Their Markets

Multi-LIVE lays out several events that are already under way instead of one at a time. The board is a grid of panes, and a pane holds a single meeting: the tracker at the top of it, the markets of that meeting underneath.

The sports across the top of the board each carry a tick box, and the ticks decide which of them feed the grid. Two buttons at the right end of the strip open the ones the width of the window cannot take. A name in the strip is also the way through to that sport on the ordinary Live board.

Inside a pane the tracker names the competition and the two sides and keeps the score between them. Tabs under it move to the summary of the meeting, to the head-to-head record of the pair and to the archive of what they played before. Back and Next at the head of the pane step to the neighbouring meeting without leaving the grid.

The markets sit below the tracker in the same shape as on a match card: groups one under another, a search over them and a control that folds them down to their headings. Odds taken in one pane are gathered on the right beside those taken in the others.

A pane carries a close control in its corner, and closing one frees the cell for the next meeting. When a meeting finishes, the pane says so and asks for another to be chosen, while the tracker keeps the summary of the finished game in place until it is replaced.

The box at the top right of the board finds a meeting by the name of one side. The top menu keeps the way out: Live for the ordinary board of one event at a time, Sports for the card of meetings that have not started.
