A Tournament Opens as a Table of Teams and Points

Statistics opens on the matches of the day named in the stepper above the board, and the arrows on either side of it move a day back or forward. A strip of sports runs over the board with arrows at both ends, so the row can be walked through when it is wider than the window. Where nothing has been played the board says as much and waits for the date to be changed.

Three stacked blocks fill the left column. Top competitions is a short list of leagues, marked with the flag of the country they are played in. Rankings holds the standing orders that are not league tables at all: world rankings of national sides and all-time records of continental competitions. Choose tournament sits under its own search box and groups the rest by country, with the number of competitions beside the country name.

Choosing a tournament swaps the board for its table. A banner carries the name of the competition, a selector under the banner picks the season, and the table lists the teams in the order they stand. The columns count matches played, wins, draws and defeats, goals scored and goals conceded, the difference between the two, and the points that follow from it.

The last column is the form guide, a row of small boxes that reads the recent games of a side from left to right. Rows are tinted in bands, so groups of places are told apart before any of the numbers are read. Above the banner a breadcrumb keeps the trail back to the sport and to Statistics itself, and the left column stays in place while a table is open.

A ranking is built differently. Instead of a season it takes a date, and a second selector sets how many places the list runs to. The columns give the position, the team, the points it holds and the change since the previous list, with an arrow beside the position of a side that has moved up or down.

Statistics sits in the More menu at the top of the site and again in the footer. The same top bar carries Sports for the fixtures a table is built from, with Live, Games, Slots and Live Casino along it, and Registration is reachable from the footer links.
